Top Knotch Cleaning & Moving Services – Terms and Conditions

Agreement to Terms

By booking services with Top Knotch Cleaning & Moving Services (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“Customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms govern all moving, delivery, freight, and related services provided by the Company.

Services Provided

The Company provides:

Residential moving (move-in / move-out)
Commercial moving
Freight pickup and delivery
Store pickups and deliveries
Clean-outs
White-glove delivery (inside placement, unpacking, debris removal)
Heavy-duty and specialty item transport

All services are subject to availability and scheduling confirmation.

Pricing & Fees

Pricing is based on service type and may include base rates plus additional charges:

Base Service Includes
Standard mileage allowance (typically up to 15 miles)
Limited number of items depending on service tier
Additional Charges May Include
Extra items beyond included limit
Stair carries
Additional labor (hourly per crew member)
Assembly/disassembly services
Extended mileage beyond included distance
Heavy or oversized items
Same-day, weekend, or expedited services

All additional fees will be communicated before or during service when possible.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

Provide accurate and complete item and location information
Ensure safe and clear access at pickup and delivery sites
Identify fragile, valuable, or special-care items in advance
Be present or provide an authorized representative during service

Failure to comply may result in delays, additional fees, or refusal of service.

Delays

The Company is not responsible for delays caused by factors outside its control, including:

Traffic
Weather
Mechanical issues
Unforeseen circumstances

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service if:

Conditions are unsafe
Customer behavior is abusive or inappropriate
Service requirements differ significantly from booking details

Service Agreement / Signature Requirement

Prior to the start of any service, the Customer is required to sign a Service Agreement acknowledging:

Date and time of service
Service type and scope
Non-refundable deposit
Liability limits
Prohibited items
Customer responsibilities

Service will not commence without a signed agreement.

Booking, Deposits & Payment

A deposit is required to secure your booking date and time.
Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE, as they secure labor, equipment, and scheduling.


Submission of a deposit acknowledges forfeiture if the service is canceled.


Remaining balances are due as agreed (prior to or upon completion).
Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards and digital payments (e.g., Zelle).
Bookings are confirmed only after deposit receipt.

Transaction Fees:

Use of credit cards or CashApp will incur an additional 4% processing fee to cover associated service fees.

Chargeback Protection: By paying with a card or digital payment, the Customer agrees not to dispute charges or initiate chargebacks for any reason related to scheduling, cancellations, or service performance. Any disputes must be addressed directly with the Company first.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Customers must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.


Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE regardless of notice provided.
Rescheduling is at the Company’s discretion and subject to availability.


No-shows will result in forfeiture of deposit.

Prohibited Items

The Company will not transport:

Hazardous or flammable materials
Illegal items
Perishable goods (unless agreed in advance)
Undisclosed high-value items

Liability & Damage Policy

The Company will handle items with care.
Limitation of Liability: The Company’s liability is limited to $0.60 per pound per item, unless additional insurance or valuation coverage is purchased in advance.
The Company is not liable for:
Pre-existing damage
Damage to items packed by the Customer
Items not properly disclosed

Damage claims must be reported within 48 hours of service. Optional valuation coverage is available.

Service Area

Services are provided across select regions, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland. Additional travel fees may apply outside standard service areas.

Customer Satisfaction & Complaints

Customer concerns must be reported promptly. The Company will make reasonable efforts to resolve issues

Changes to Terms

The Company may update these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on the website.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which services are performed.
